More About Shakira

Shakira is a young female who was brought to us in a vulnerable state after being found straying and had recently given birth. A member of the public left her into our care along with two of her less than one week old pups. After spending time with the veterinary team, Shakira is ready to find her forever home.

Due to her background she can be quite nervous initially with new people and in new environments, for this reason she would be best suited in a home with no children under 12 years old. Shakira can be reactive towards other dogs on her walks so therefore would require someone with experience with this type of breed, who would also be able to physically manage her. She would settle best in a home with no other pets.

Throughout her time with us, we have found Shakira to be a very loving dog, she can be quite boisterous and would require an active home with a large secure garden. She is the sweetest girl who hasn't had an easy start to life but we can see how beautiful and loving she would be and she is now in need of someone to shower her with affection in her forever home.
