Why Trek for the USPCA

The USPCA receives no financial support from government. To maintain and expand our charitable services we rely on fundraising activities and voluntary donations from the people of Northern Ireland.

The USPCA is Northern Ireland’s leading animal welfare charity Founded in 1836, The Ulster Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (USPCA) is the second oldest Animal Welfare Charity in the world. For an unbroken 182 years this charity has remained true to its founder’s vision, the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and the Relief of their Suffering. The USPCA is non-selective in the animals it assists as we have a unique commitment to protect ALL animals in Northern Ireland.

’Trek Sri Lanka was such an uplifting and memorable challenge. I loved visiting Sri Lanka and experiencing a different culture with an amazing group of people. I am the person I am today because of it and I would recommend anyone to give it a go, raise funds, make friends and develop themselves as a person. You will not regret it.

The USPCA provided support every step of the way which I thank them for and I’m proud to be involved with such an admirable charity, I am looking forward in taking on the Rockies in 2019’
