USPCA Recruiting for a Veterinary Nursing Assistant
The USPCA is now recruiting for a Veterinary Nursing Assistant at its Animal Hospital in Newry, Co. Down.
The Animal Hospital provides veterinary treatment for members of the local community who may not be able to afford regular veterinary fees, has an active wildlife rescue service and has an active rehoming programme for companion animals in need.
The position offers the opportunity to gain valuable and rewarding experience in a varied small animal and wildlife practice; supporting the Head Nurse and Veterinary Team in the provision of high quality care for the companion animals and wildlife brought to the Animal Hospital.
Candidates should have an interest in animal welfare. An Animal Nursing Auxiliary qualification or Level 2 in Animal Care is desirable but not essential.
