USPCA Host Egg-Cellent Easter Egg Hunt
The USPCA welcomed families on Saturday the 20th of April to the Animal Hospital for an Easter Egg Hunt & Dog Show. The Easter Bunny arrived to the centre at 11.15am and we were delighted to see that he brought the good weather with him for the occasion.
Children enjoyed an Egg Hunt around the centre from 11.30am, followed by a Dog Show at 12.00pm. There was also Egg decorating, Guess how many sweets in the jar and lots more.
Pictured above is the winner of the Sweet Jar along with Sarah Loughran USPCA Marketing officer. The correct number of sweets was 383.
USPCA Development Manager Colleen Tinnelly said "There was a great atmosphere throughout the day and we were delighted to see plenty of children getting involved in the Easter Fun. And as always we loved welcoming past rescue dogs back to see us, many of which entered the Best Rescue Category in the Dog Show.?
We hope everyone enjoyed the day and look forward to welcoming you all again next year. As a charity we depend on events like this and support from the general public in order to continue our vital work with animals.
