Pictured at the announcement on Tuesday 4th February at Belfast City Hall is Deputy Lord Mayor Councilor Peter McReynolds, Colleen Tinnelly USPCA Development Manager and Sarah Loughran USPCA Marketing and Fundraising Officer.

Welcoming the announcement USPCA Chief Executive Brendan Mullan said “This is the first time an Animal Welfare Charity has ever been chosen and we gratefully welcome the support of the Deputy Lord Mayor and Belfast City Council.

The USPCA holds a rich history with Belfast City, having originally been called the Belfast Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals when the charity was first established in 1836.

This will help raise awareness of the charity and promote the services that we provide for both animals and people across Northern Ireland. ”
